FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler sits at the helm of the agency which is tasked with regulating the industry he spent 30 years representing. Owing to his close professional ties with the cable industry, many are concerned about his commitment to the preservation of net neutrality. Because the FCC is expected to rule on the matter of net neutrality by the end of the year, the FCC has been inundated with millions of communications expressing fears that equal access to internet content will be compromised. The FCC Commission will hold a roundtable meeting on October 02, 2014 to consider the issues related to this important matter.
